The Opti - kap 2000 LineThe heavy duty and balanced sawblade bracket supplies an exact and clean cut. The use of an eccentric for the up/down movement of the blade gives a very smooth, and fast running unit. It is an environmentally sound solution. The alternative would be pneumatic, involving heavy consumption of compressed air. Double side suspended top pressure and drive rollers ensure accurate feed and reliability - also of bent or twisted workpieces and large timber sections. The sturdy measuring unit combines a measuring roller directly on the workpiece and photoelectric sensors. Thus accuracy of ± 5 mm the incoming length of timber is achieved. The measuring unit is very fast to reposition for new stock dimensions.
